Summer Brunch 2019

Join us for this three course brunch prepared by local chefs, Seth Elgar, Dan Williamson, Andrea Pawlik-Armstrong, and Abel Garcia. Each course is paired with a drink from Cardinal Spirits (non-alcoholic options will be provided).

The menu is:

Course One (choose one):

__Tostones: twice cooked plantains, served with Cuban mojito garlic sauce OR

__Tropical fruit plate: ripe pineapple, papaya, banana and watermelon

Course Two (choose one):

__Jamaican chicken and waffles: jerk roasted chicken wings on sweet potato waffle with chili & orange infused honey and butter OR

__Gallo Pinto: Costa Rican black beans and rice with kale, onion, sweet peppers, avocado, cilantro and lime, topped with sous vide cooked egg OR

__Cheesy chipotle chorizo grits, topped with sous vide egg, cilantro and green onion

Course Three (choose one):

__Flan OR

__Mango sorbet topped with sweetened condensed milk and lime

Seats are $50 each. Reservations with seating time (11am or 1pm) and food choices are required in advance. You may call in reservations to 812-332-0999 or email them to director@monroecommunitykitchen.com. All proceeds support Community Kitchen's hunger relief efforts.
