Thanksgiving Dinner
Community Kitchen will serve a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner from 3-6pm at our 1515 S Rogers St main location and our 1100 W 11th St Express location on Thanksgiving Day (11/28).
In addition to dinner, we will provide bags of groceries.
Volunteer spots are all full. Food donations are still welcome:
-Stuffing mixes

-Cream of mushroom soup

Each dozen includes four each of three kinds of cookies: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle and chocolate crackle. Orders will be picked up from noon-3pm on either Sat, Dec 14th or Sun, Dec 15th from Community Kitchen at 1515 S Rogers St. You must choose a pick up date at checkout.

Reigning Champion, Eric Bueno of Feast Market & Cellar, will compete against contenders Corbin Morwick of One World Catering, and Dan Thomas of The Elm. The three will compete to make a winning dish(es) using a secret ingredient that will be revealed at the competition’s beginning.

Thanksgiving Dinner
Thanksgiving Dinner at Community Kitchen Nov 24, 2022 3-6pm
We will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner from our main and Express locations from 3-6pm on Thanksgiving Day, Nov 24th. Warm meals at each location and from our food truck will include turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry ambrosia, rolls and pies.
We need the following food donations for this meal. Those donations can be dropped off at 1515 S Rogers St from 8am-6:30pm Monday - Friday or 11am-6:30pm on Saturdays.
Items we start accepting now are:
14-16lb Turkeys
Boxes of stuffing mix
Canned green beans
Cream of mushroom soup
Canned tropical fruit or fruit cocktail
Chicken broth or stock
Large cans of French fried onions
Canned Cranberry sauce

Birding Bonanza
IndiGo Birding Nature Tours and Community Kitchen are teaming up to present the second ever Birding Bonanza fundraiser. You can participate by asking friends or family to sponsor you for each type of bird that you find on the Bonanza bird identification form, up to $100 for finding them all. You then collect your sponsorship funds and turn the money in to Community Kitchen. The event starts now and ends on October 16th. All monies must be turned in by November 4, 2022.
Chefs' Challenge
Three Bloomington chefs compete on stage, cooking with a secret ingredient revealed at the beginning of the competition. This Iron Chef type event raises funds for Community Kitchen’s hunger relief efforts.
Spring Brunch
Join us for this all-inclusive, three-course brunch. Local chefs and restaurant staff will prepare each course, which will be paired with a delicious cocktail from Cardinal Spirits.
Two seatings or brunch will be held at 11am ($55) or 1pm ($65).
